little help please!

    when i boot up my pc, it says 510 splashscreen error, rerun rompaq to fix. i believe my bios version is compaq bios 68602 v2.14
    Does anyone know where i can download this bios to run and fix my problem?

    Do a search for your pc's model number on the compaq website, and they should have BIOS there for download, if you can't find it post your model number here and I'll see what I can find.

    thanks, but after searching i came across belarc program! it worked perfect for me, gave my all the info i needed to find bios etc...
