    Hi guys,

I've been reading alot about HD VHS players and recorders. Amazon has
the JVC HMDH5U Digital VHS High-Definition Recorder. Which states it
will record up to 3.5 hours of HD content and 35 hours of analoge
on one tape. I know they have HDMI and Component .

Put my question is can a vhs tape capture the quality of a 720p or
    1080i signal.

Has anyone heard of this, have any links to where I can get more info
, and has anyone had any experience with these machines.

    Thanks alot for the help.

    Steve

    Hi Steve:

I don't know the answer to your question but I would like too. I'm going to PM a couple of our more knowledgable people to get their two cents on this. Be a little patient...Gerry
