how to record

    i have downloaded movies on my pc but i cant burn them to my dvd-r help please!!!

    I'm sure those movies are in the .avi format, if so then:

    I would use a free app called Avi2DVD for converting the files into a DVD compliant format that DVDshrink or DVD decrypter will recognize.
