hey everyone, this might sound lame, but is it possible to play runescape at universities? i've tried playing it, but the university either blocks it w/ their firewall or closed the ports required to play the game (i might be wrong with these assumptions). any help would be VERY much appreciated!
Yes, This happens all the time, Although I am not in University (yet, Hoping to go to UWA) I know it blocks RS, It just leaves the screen black and displays Red Text, This is a firewall, Try accessing it through a Proxy, (If the UNI hasnt blocked em all)
cheers m8! i've been waiting 4 so long! lol anyways, were you (jorahan) referring to websites in which u can browse another website using a different proxy? i don't fully understand anything regarding proxies. i had a look at manuals, walkthroughs, etc. on proxies and stuff, but it was pure jargon, i could not understand one bit of it...
Try going to www.hidemyass.com that will eliminate the path that you are going to and hopefully get behind the back door.
