I know that a hard mod is xbox live compatibable, but a bigger harddrive also?

I heard rumors that microsoft will ban you if they find out you're running a larger than stock drive.

If so, I'm trying to find a work around and I think I have one...

    Install chip mod ( http://www.divineo.com/cgi-bin/div-us/dd-xb-1topx2mg )

Flash bios on chip to use dual bios (stock M$ dash, and XBMC)

Install 2nd hard drive to IDE controller (set both as Master drives). However, add a toggle switch (spdt relay) so I can select my aftermarket drive, or the stock drive.

If I'd like to get on XBL, I'd select the stock drive, and disable mod chip (booting to M$ dash).

If I don't want XBL, switch to aftermarket drive and enable chip (booting XBMC).

    Plausable?

I can say that when I used to run an X3 chip i used live for about a month (with chip turned on) and did not get banned. I'm not sure about the bigger hard drive question though, sorry.

Yeah it's not the chip mod that I'm worried about (as the capabilty of turning it on/off). It's the 2nd hard drive issue. If I should install the 2nd drive with a selection switch, or if I can just upgrade the drive itself.
