this is my mobo can u lable are the parts http://www.ati.com/designpartners/media/integrated/popups/rx200board.asp
anybody know what the black slot mounted on sidways at the bottom of the board is? just wondered as ive not seen that before.
i've seen those before on some other boards. i think they are for diagnostic or an expansion slot if in a desktop case not a tower.
ok i opened up my pc again and my cpu manual online says i have agp but it looks like the thing on the pic i showed u,can u show me a pic of a agp slot? and tell my the physical difference
what you have posted is not an agp slot but as a pci/e like gtjr_ph posted on that picture. an agp slot will sit further back from the back of the case whereas that pci/e is not far back enough. link to an agp slot board. http://www.asus.com/products4.aspx?l1=3&l2=14&l3=66&model=233&modelmenu=1 link to a pci/e slot board. http://www.asus.com/products4.aspx?l1=3&l2=14&l3=245&model=952&modelmenu=1
damn those pics wont help i guess ill put the pic on my psp then open it up and check but is there any other way like the length or sumting wait lol ill just wiki them ,ok i know i have pci for sure because the 2 parts on the apg are like ------________ but mines is like the pci-e ---________
you can tell by the pictures posted which is pci/e or agp as the agp is further back. which is yours than?? how many dividers(notches) are in the slot? ati boards with ATI RadeonĀ® Xpress 200 for AMD (Socket 754) only have pci/e, no agp slot.
