hey everyone i need some help as to how i should connect to my internet. heres my situation:
i have a router and dsl in my other room becuase my phone is far from where my cpu is currently at (no more than 30ft though). So since an ethernet cable wont be able to reach from my dsl to my router, i need a wireless conncection. Problem is, my cpu has no wireless conncectivity hardware. im dont know if i should get a wirless usb network adapter or a wirless network card. please help me with this. a few more questions: will either peice of hardware affect the speed at which i download torrents in any way b/c i download a bunch of torrents? what are the major differences b/w the 2 devices?
btw , my budget is $70 thanks for your input and if you could show me a link of a good usb/neywork card, id appreciate it.

sry if i posted this in the wrong section..
    thanks

i can vouch for the Linksys WMP54G PCI wireless cards, i've got loads of them, a mixture of RT2500 and RT61 chipsets, work great in Linux too

alright thanks for your replies but i decided to get the netgear w311t usb adapter.however, once i set it up, my connection was low and dropping all the time. So i had to get an access point and got the dlink Airplus G. Now, my connection stays very good and never disconnects. Altough i still am not sure hjow to connect my printer to my pc? any recommendations?
