Hi, i'm new here. i have my gigabeat since march 17 and the gagibeat room wont open (version 2.0.0 amnd the version 2.0.2) i deleted it and I installed the version 3.0 (or 3. something) and everytime i try to transfer a song, it say : imposible to transfer [the name of the file] and i was wonderting if I should instal the firmware ( version 3 ) on my gigabeat F10 help me please.
It wouldn't hurt. I have the F20 and gigabeat room works fine. The issue I had was with the "tags" in that alot of the information got jumbled sometimes and the gigabeat would read them as just files with unknown information. To answer your question directly, do the FW upgrade soon as you can but be careful to follow every step EXACTLY or you'll wind up with a paperweight. Hope that helps!
