my uncle is trading me this pc http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/prodd...&sku_id=0926INGFS10077640&catid=20217&PCName=
for my new pc and im testing it right now.... But i think the harddrive is faulty. He just got the pc last month but the harddrive Seems to work like it should except for the LOUD THUNK/CLUNk i hear randomly its just 1 loud clunk and it happens randomly and what is weird is that it never effects the pc it load normally just you can hear a random clunk every 20- 30 mins or so. Whats going on? and whats a good hdd tester?

It is about to fail. It will only occur when the HD is reading the faulty portion of the drive; the PCB is probably defective. Get it replaced like yesterday.

you might just need to run scandisk to clear up any faults on it.
