Hi, this is my first post here.

I have a broken Sony Vaio laptop. It's beyond salvage, but I did recover the hard drive. I have heard of adaptors that can be used to connect the laptop hard drive to another pc.

Problem is, my laptop hd has 47 pins.
All I keep seeing are ones that support 40-44 pins

    Anybody have any ideas?
I'd hate to lose 5 years of music I didn't back up

don't worry about the extra pins as all 2.5" laptop hd's have them. get the adapter as i use 1 on my 40gig laptop hd on regular computers.
