    Hello,
I have win 98se and the maddog 16x dvd player. I am using a Gforce4 card that supports two monitors. I am having problems with the windvd program that came bundled witht the drive.

Win DVD will not run any of my commercial DVDs as it says that I need to disconnect my tv out.

I thought easy, it is a video driver issue. I installed the newest nvidia drivers and can not find anywhere an option to disable a tv out. I got the card second hand (I believe it is a dell card...) It does not have a tv tuner, so I don't know why it is complaining. I have tried reinstalling the video driver and the software, all to no avail. Any suggestions?

    Thanks
    M

Control Panel --> Display --> Settings --> Advanced --> GeForce4 Ti4400 (or whatever you have). Make sure that you only have one display here.

    Also, disable the nView thingy.
