I installed an Executer 3CE and turned on the Xbox. I got the cromwell menu and was trying to flash the BIOS - at some point, I pressed UNLOCK HDD. I was not successful in flashing the BIOS and now when I turn it on, it will either FRAG or give me an error 5. I can't seem to get back to that cromwell menu screen and I can't figure out how I can lock the HDD in it's current state. I figured I'd run into problems with at some point during this mod install - just my luck. I have tried burring a bunch of bios DVD-R's (Verbatim) and booting with them and also trying to hold down the white button while booting and also pressing the power+eject like I read in the forums but nothing works. So, I unlocked the HDD without having flashed the BIOS and am stuck as to what my options are at this point. I just want to play the new Splinter Cell game that I got. I read that I can somehow hook up the Xbox HDD to a PC to lock it, but all I have is a laptop - no desktop to use the cable to connect to the HDD. Is my only option at this point to buy a new HDD for the Xbox and start from there? Thanks in advance for any and all help.
aww easy fix man, all u need to do is hit the power and eject buttons at the same time this will boot ur back up bios it will be purple instead of blue then just lock ur hdd up and reflash oh by the way what are u flashing it with
