hey guys.... This problem has really really been $%*&# me off lately... I've been trying to install the FarcryAMD64_upgrade over my existing CLEAN INSTALL of the game. Of course im running Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, with all my drivers updated, the latest version of Windows Installer(v3.1), a clean temp directory, no previous patches stuck in the installer.... yet STILL i get "1628: Failed to complete installation" when running the patch! So i tried updating to v1.31 of the game first (as it is the closest version to 1.32 which is the 64 bit update) but to no avail. I have googled this error code and everywhere else tells me to do the things i have already mentioned ^^. Does ANYONE have ANY idea what i can do to get my beloved 64-bit update working??
