What are you supposed to do after you download this zip file to get the new keys. I always go to the website to get the new keys when ever they change. What does this keyzipper file do to make it easier.

By the way, I havent changed the setting but did a scan to the frequency you have sent and could get ESPN.

Just unzip the Keymaster to your desktop. Then click the Icon when you need keys. They should pop up in a window for you. You can still go to any web site for the keys if you like that better.

Hi guys,

I have a question regarding Coolsat 5000. Yesterday, I downloaded new keys and I entered them - everything was working fine, but in a couple of minutes I got scrambled channels again. I repeated this few times, and each time I got scrambled channels after few minutes. Interestingly enough, when I went to change the keys time and time again, what I changed was no longer there. It seems like the system went back to the previous key codes on it's own. Could anyone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?? Maybe there is a step that I am not takeing, and the key codes are not being saved properly, even though I make sure to choose "save" each time I change the key codes. Should I be doing anything else apart from changing the codes?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

I have heard that using the back switch to power off the Coolsats for about a minute helps bring back the the picture. Try and see if it works.

Lets try to keep this thread for Keymaster questions. There are other Coolsat threads for problems.

What should the setting be in the set-up? Still "Standard" ?

At the top left side it will say QUICKSHARING.COM. Then below that it says DOWNLOAD FILE. That is what you click on. Once downloaded, unzip it to your desktop, then click the Keymaster icon when you need the keys.

Try entering 8282 with your remote. That usually takes you to the key entry screen.

Yes, they change the keys on a regular basis. However if a new bin comes out with auto roll fixed, the bin file will find the keys for you if it works right.

how do i get new bins when they come out? and how do i put that bin in the box?

Hi, I am a complete newbie but I have been reading as much as I can. However everytime I type the 8282 into my remote for my coolsat 5000 platinum it doesn't take me anywhere. I go the wires right, but after reading everything that was recently posted I am suppose to manually enter the new keys for it to work because the bin won't. I tried to follow the other walkthroughs for manually typing in keys but I get no where. Does 8282 only work on certain satellites or what? I am just lost. please help.
