Problems reading (good) discs

    Hey guys, well, my problem is with almost all the games i burned to mini dvd is that after a while of playing i just get the message that there's a problem with my disc, this also happens with the RITEKG04 discs, what can i do to solve this?

    Burn slower. What speed are you burning at?

    I was thinking a pot adjustment tweak,but if you are burning fast I would advise what Ripper mentioned.If you burn slower it should read better,but on another note some GameCube systems tend to have a picky laser also.

    Well, i dont think the speed is the problem because i burn all of my games at the slowest speed i can which is 2X.

    Then that could be your problem. Burning too slow has the same affects as burning too fast. Especially on quality media...

    Burn at 4x or 8x with top media, such as, Verbatim.

    ok, i'll try that then

    btw, are mini dvd's of the brand Sony also good or what brand of mini dvd's should i take?

    Stick with Ritek; if they fail use Sony.
