i don't think there will be a diablo 3 anymore, diablo and his brothers are already dead in diablo 2 and their soul stones are destroyed. Unless they come up with a new story of diablo who had slept with a girl during his travel and gave birth to the new diablo do anyone know if there will be a new race in starcraft ghost? i remember there was an experimental race where they join the zerg and protos together.
@ditri... Im actually playing it right now, thanks for the spoiler! Grrr. Anyway, I think that diablo itself is dead and buried, not the demon, the game, its dead and buried and its soul stone is destroyed. Also its main fan base, well, has grown up.

From the interview with Richard Knaak, I got the impression that the book was based before the events in the first two Diablo games and that they tied into Diablo 3, which would take place previously. Kinda like Devil May Cry 3 happened before Devil May Cry 1 & 2.
