I have searched these forums for a clear answer, and have found none.

I have a DVD that I want to extract some audio from. The audio is in the middle of the movie somehwere.

I have read that I need to use Smart Ripper and then DVD2AVI. I tried that, but I am failing..I do not know what I am supposed to do?

Here is what I am doing: I start SmartRipper and choose Sound only streaming. I selected a middle chapter and pressed go. THen I opened that in DVD2AVI and do not know what do then.

ALso, how can I go exactly or close to the part of the audio that I want without doing the whole DVD.

    Appreciate any help.

    1. Rip it like you would normally (i.e. Smartripper)
    2. Fire up DVDx and open up the IFO
    3. Specify the desired chapter
    4. Under Ouput, disable the video
    5. Rip it to an avi. The output wont have any video just audio.
    6. Fire up VDub and extract the audio
