Hey Guys; ...looking at the weekly CC specials and I found this: http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Acer...62430/catOid/-12962/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do ...;;well; what do you think??? ...I was contemplating buying this one 'cause of the AWESOME PRICE when you buy it in the package; ..to me; it looks like a good mid-range computer and good bang-foryour buck; and it looks like it gets the job done;;; ...the only thing is: my last 2 questions on this are: ...what do you think of this as far as upgradeability??? AND ...do you think this would suit me well for getting good backup times for DVDs???And if so; would it do better than my parent's Emachines T5026??? P.S. My normal DVD Backup software consists of using DVD Rebuilder; DVD Shrink; DVD Clone; AnyDVD; etc...
just upgrade to 1 gig of ram and you should be fine. the +3500 is like the minimum if your going with AMD. it has a pciexpress slot, so you can definitely add a very nice gpu. the CPU is very upgrade able piece too. over all, that i one heck of a price for that type of computer this would definitely beat any emachine
Halen5150, reduce your sig to forum specs ASAP. 1. Text-only signatures should have at most 5 lines of text. 2. An image-only signature should be less than 50kb in size, and be at most 500 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall. 4. If you want to use both text and image in your signature the image should not be more than 500 pixels wide and 100 pixels tall, and you can use up to three lines of text.
There; sorry ddp; didn't mean 2 make u mad... ...Now back to the thread; as of Acer's; I did some research and some people said that they're crap computers and our cheap sh*t; but I was wondering what do you guys think of the overall quality???
