Hi, i just bought guild wars and installed it and added my key. Now i wanna know why is the game loading so slow? at the start you have to load ascalon city,and it's only going at like 35 kbs... I have a very fast connectionj and don't know what's causing this...Does it have to load every region like this or what? Please help me out...
Dont expect downloads to go very much faster than that, at least not for a sustained period of time, I dont know if Arena Net did it intentionally or if that is all the band width they can offer but my updates download at about that rate also. Also, about 75% of the time it will download a little update or something for each area, probably because of a quest or mission that you have done. Enless you bought the game online and not have the CD for the game, the downloading is pretty negligable. Hope that makes sense.
