Can PS2 play video files off a USB memory stick

Hi I have many video files (AVI mp4) on my 1gb usb memory stick.
I am in australia for year and havent brought my laptop with me so I cant go and put those video files on a dvd or such I just have my PS2 So can anyone help me out please

If you can run unsigned code, you could use SMS:

Thanks very much mate I got it working great the sms media player is class if you dont mind would you able to give me links to other cool software for the ps2
