Hi, I'd like to let you guys know ive developed a web-based browser for the PS2. It comes up with a simple URL entry

field at the top of the screen for useful and un-obtrusive web browsing on your PS2.

You can connect to it in the same way you connect to the brookfresh site.

The IP for this service is 213.105.221.58

Or you can go to the actual website at http://ps2browser.webhop.net

You can find full instructions on how to use it at the above site. Just incase here is how to setup your PS2 to use my

browser:

1.Start the Network Access Disc

2.Go to "Get Connected"

3.Go to "Advanced Options"

4.Choose "Configure External Network Device"

5.Select the settings file

6.Type in this net address 213.105.221.58

7.You should see the connecting page...please then wait to be connected.

Let me know what you think!

cheers!
Seb

The network access disk comes with the PS2 Network Adaptor Kit. Its the setup disc for the internet service on your PS2...so if you have the network adaptor kit then you will have the CD as well.

cheers,

The network access disk comes with the ps2 network adapter in the UK. The US version is different, so the method to connect to the brookfresh site does not work with the US ps2 network adapter software. The brookfresh site was mentioned a few days ago on http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/54/31675.html

Cool, I got that CD (US Version).

Could you help me out a bit? Ok, I boot that disc and 3 options come up: "HELP", "ISP" & "Demos"

There's no "Get Connect" selection :(

Sorry for stupid questions :(
