Linux help

    im not too familiar with dual boot and i was wondering if there was a good tutorial on how to do that. i was also wondering how to get linux as the second dual boot and if there was an easy way to get linux

    you need to get a linux distro that comes with grub as the bootloader cause its easier than lilo.

    i personally recommend fedora core.

    now during the install, make sure you have enough hard drive unpartitioned space, use the installer and then when it comes to the bootloader section of the install prompt, click the configure button and select the other option that links to hda1 (presuming that it is your xp partition) and it should auto boot windows when your computer starts. but its easier done than said lol.

    sorry for my vague exp cause i could do it if it was in front of me and its not exactly something i can screen capture lol soz man.
