Please help- I have downloaded and saved some old movies (100-250 mb) on my HD from a site and played by windows media player. How can I burn them on CD or DVD and play them using a regular DVD player and TV? Thanks in advance.

you need to transcode the files to a dvd formate... use a video editing program import the files then burn to disc. i am guessing your files are in a compressed formate, so you will need to find a program that is compatable with your compressed formate, nero vision exprees is as good a place to start as any other.
    hope this helps.

I used "Digital Media Converter 2.7" and nero to burn on a cd which was too small. Thanks for your help.

If your going to use CDs then you will need to convert them to SVCDs or VCDs.

With Nero 7 problem is solved. I don't even need any converter.
    Thanks for your feedback.
