Power Producer

I have installed the editing software that came with my digital videocorder.
When I open PowerProducer I get a window headed Windows Internet Explorer with a red X and the following message 4 lines long. First and last part only shown

Cannot find
http://liveupdate.cyberlink.com/b/b/rPRODUCTNAME=PowerProducer&PRODUCTVERSION....................
.........._id-2184 Make sure the path or Internet address is correct.

Any one know what this means?

 

I havew the exact same problem, did you figure out what to do about it?

 

I did not sort out this problem with the version of Power Producer that came with my Camera, but I found a copy of Power Producer Gold that came with my new DVD burner. I installed this and the problem now seems to have disappeared.
