dvd play problems since upgrade to xp

    Hmm.. used quotes in my title and it got chopped out.

    Hello all, I have a Sony Vaio laptop with a Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-C2202, and I recently upgraded from Win98 to XP pro. Since the upgrade the drive has had major difficulty reading DVD's, I have got it to show maybe 10 minutes of video before locking up, but now all I get is this message

    It reads cd's fine. Any ideas?
