I'm using Nero version 7.0.8.2 and was wondering how to get rid of the Nero History file that is created after burning with Nero Burning Rom? Everytime I finish burning an ISO with Burning Rom a Nero History log is created on my desktop and I want to stop this.I don't want a History log to be made everytime I burn.Any ideas?

    Hi poolpro
Dumb question but I'll ask :) When burning rom is done and it's ask if you would like to save a log you click no?

I couldn't find a setting to change the path (might be one just can't find it right now).

By default Nero does save the last 10 burn logs but saved to a folder in the program files for Nero.

Hmmm I still can't find a option anywhere in preferences or elsewhere there.

This may not work but might want to give it a shot. Open Express click on 'configure' then 'misc' tab Check 'offer to print/save detailed report after successful burn process'.

I'll have to check Burning Rom tomm to see if I still get that pop up bit on the log. It doesn't save to my desktop though - just to the default folder.

Didn't work Binkie.I don't know what is going on. I never had this problem before.Maybe it's because I was using version 7.5.7.0. and then went back to version 7.0.8.2.

Hmm I'm kinda stumped on this one.
I just used Burning Rom and nope didn't give me the pop up asking about saving a log. Auto saved it to the default folder. I'm using 7.5.7.0.

Only other suggestion is to uninstall, run the clean tool and reinstall. May that will do it (?).

    Keep us posted.

Went back to the latest version 7.5.7.0. and no problems anymore.I guess it was just something goofy with 7.0.8.2 Funny that has never happened to me before. It was probably something I did when I went back to the older version. Thanks for all the help Binkie I really appreciate it.
