There maybe something wrong with your computer. Fab should only take about 15 to 20 min. Shrink should only take 30 to 45 min. unless you are doing deep analysis.

Try running a scan disk and then defrag your HD. Maybe that will speed up the process. If you think it is a computer problem then download HijackThis and post a log in the virus spyware section of the forum.

You can get HijackThis here: http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/programs.php

Create a folder for it under the C drive. Download to that folder, then rename the HijackThis.exe file to HjT.exe and create a shortcut on the desktop. It should look like this: C:\HijackThis\HjT.exe

What movie would it not work on? Did you have the latest update for it?

Edit below:
You may need to try a different program like RipIt4Me to get the job done. I normally use Fab, VobBlanker, Shrink or Recode2, and then burn.

There have been a couple of movies that I have had to use RipIt4Me on.

Read my edit above. You may need to use RipIt4Me. Let me know what the movie is. Maybe I can be of more assistance. It is most likely not the computer that is causing the problem.

Jesse415 what is the speed of your processor, that also affects the speed of DVD Shrink process. About the DVDFab, I have no idea, try checking for viruses and defragmenting, cause maybe your hard drive has data scatered all over the place, and it takes longer for your computer to record new data.

Did you try RipIt4Me yet? It is a great program. See I didn't have a problem with Little Man, because I have AnyDVD and DVD Decrypter set up the right way. If you do not have AnyDVD you can go to Slysoft.com and get a free trial of the software.

If you get the free trial you can right click the little fox head in the task menu and tell it to rip the DVD for you. Set up a folder and it will do the job. After it is finished Shrink should open the file without a problem.

But like I said before you can go to the post I gave you above and download the program. It uses DVD Decrypter which you will probably have to download also. You can find it at the same web site.
