i just unlocked coolbits by creating a new dword value &
naming it coolbits like i have many times before..
then i set the value to 3 & when i went to overclock my graphics card the memory clock frequency was 800mhz & the 3d clock was 300mhz..
the 2d clock is set to 0mhz & i was wondering if anyone knows why
the memory clock is set so high & the 2d clock so low..
the highest ive ever gotten it before was 523mhz with both 3d
    & 2d clocks to 424mhz..
i also have the 3d clock set to 449mhz..
have i set the dword to the wrong value?
im pretty sure its been set to 3 every other time.
do we really need the 2d clock to be set to anything since most games are 3d nowadays anyway?
would i get better performance or worse with the clock frequencies set to what they are at?
here is a link to the pic of my nvidia control panel showing both clock frequencies:-

what did cool bits tell you your optimal clocks are?

if you have got that screen in the nvidia conrol panel it has worked.

    hi, just read your reply..
my default clocks in coolbits for the 6600 were:
    2d & 3d clocks = 300mhz
    memory clock = 400mhz
which is what it says all the time, but if i try to adjust
the 2d clock it refuses to move & just stays still..
could this be to do with the new forceware drivers?

    any help is appreciated, thanks

**EDIT** i just tried to move the 2d core clock again & this time it moved along with the 3d clock..
i set both 2d/3d clocks to 369mhz, but after i applied them after testing & went back into check this is what i found:-

however the 3d clock is set to 383 & if i try to move the memory clock(even to 1mhz) it says test failed????

    thanks

**2ND EDIT** when i went back into the overclocking utility via
right clicking the desktop>settings>advanced & select the tab with my graphics cardat the top, it shows this again:
