Wireless help

    hey guys, all of my computers are hooked up with a wireless connection, but today my wireless went down for some reason. i went and checked my router and it looked fine, but i couldnt get into the setup page with internet explore (192.168.1.1) but it wouldnt let me in. so i tried to reset it and see what would happen but it was the same thing. finally i got desprate and reformated my computer to see if it would help but still no good. so what do you guys thing that problem is, and how do you think i should fix it? my router is airlink101 super g wireless broadband router model:ar420w

    First thing that comes to mind is that the firmware is corrupt. Did you do a hard reset on the router? (Check manual on how to do this) If you did, and you still cant get in, them something went haywire.

    Was your wireless secured? If not, you may be the victim of some kid having fun with your network.

    well i did hard reset i.e. push the button on the back of the router and it still dont work. standard wireless ip is like 192.168.1.1 but the one that i got was like 168.something.something, so that was messed up. not many kids in my neighbor hood know there way around a computer (not many of them own laptops either). well do you think theres anything i can do. oh and im not sure that our firmware is upgradeable
