Nero 7 worked fine yesterday, and as a matter of fact, I had just done a upgrade from Nero 6 earlier in the day using Nero Clean Tools and CCleaner to remove any registry keys left from Nero 6 as to do a completely clean install. Nero 7 worked fine then later in the evening, and again today I try to load Nero Smart Start and when i click it, my mouse pointer turns to an hour glass for 3 seconds or so but it never loads. I plan to do a clean install again now but does any one have nay ideas as to why this would happen?
Not even Nero knows why their own software does this nonsense. You probably have a corrupted .dll in there somewhere. The answer is to do the removal and then reinstall, just like you planned. I'm having the same issue. Also, i've installed nero 7.5 and also removed it using the cleaner tool, registry checker, etc. Now, when i try to install nero again... IT DOES NOTHING! Well when i woke up i did a clean install. Brunt a DVD and worked fine. Now I was in the middle of marking chapters and nero suddenly disappeared. Now it will not launch again...rebooted and still not launching. I guess I will give it another install.
I just can't install.... It seems that that library is the problem... Please, help! Regards, .:FiDo:.
You guys need to report to Nero and keep on bugging them so they can help to sort things out. Hopefully their next update (version) will be fixed (with all of their bugs) and better.
I switched back from 7 to 6. I had problems with showtime, but quite often svchost.exe went to a cpu of 90+ % and stayed there. Couldn't do anything, but restart.
