PSP-1003 whats that means???

Once i had PSP-1004 but it had problems with screen.
fake videos wich makes pixel on screen be gone actualy doesnt work...
So i changed my psp-1004 to psp-1003 and its perfect...so than numbers says about when psp was made and problems solved???

it is the model number to identify the region code of your PSP. it only affect to play UMD Video/Audio Disc. It is no problem to play UMD games.
