help with receiver..no power

so, have a very very nice pioneer reciever....but it went out. my friend gave it to me. i guess theres a way to reset it. can anyone help me out? thanks

Don't know about these newer receivers, but the old stereo receivers had a fuse under the cover, that was the culprit, most of the time. See if your's has one, if the reset doesn't work for you.
