no sound

    downloaded a ratdvd file, installed ratdvd version 0.78.1444, opened file in windows media player, found there is sound in the menu but no sound in the playback of the file. silence. have made sure "output ac3 through spdif for playback" is not checked in settings... what could it be?

    Hi, guys. You probably have Nero (complete install when it comes to the video part), PowerDVD or some other of these programs causing a conflict.

    If you have enought room in your HD, install another copy of Windows XP, Windows media player and RatDVD and you will have sound.

    P.S. Just in case play ".wav" files just to see that it is not your sound card.
