my modded xbox wont read backed up games....

well i have a modded xbxo(evo-x)and it wont read backed up game well it will but it take like 20 mins and most of them time it says NO disk and it wont read it......is there anyway i can fix this?????

 

Which drive do you have?

You can replace the drive or attempt to fix it! It may just be dirty, but chances are that the laser is on it's way out!

Your best bet is to try higher grade media such as Verbatim, etc.

If still no luck you try to tweak the pot on your laser (Can completely damage your drive) or just replace it! The tweak is easy, but you have to be careful and really slow!

well it reads normal games fine....

 

Try good media first as suggested, then try the Pot Tweak! One or the other WILL work!

 

hmmm well i have a old xbox and it read games like a champ but would it still work cuz they are dif.versions...
