My dad is planning on buying a New camcorder for a upcomeing vacation. Would you guys recomend MiniDVD 0ver Hard Drive or Hard Drive over MiniDVD? Is there a model/brand that you have used and liked?

    Thanks

I'd prefer HDD one. The editing feature is easier than the other. Sony, Panasonic or JVC...

Well, if you get HDD, you can possibly use up all the storage and if you're not near a computer, you're out luck. While MiniDV is an older format, so it's more perfected and you can switch out media incase you run out of room.
