I have a Dell optiplex gx240 1.8g and I want to upgrade my usb to 2.0. I was told all I needed was a 2.0 high speed 2.0 pci usb card. Well I bought and installed the card and all it did was give me 4 1.1 ports. What can I do to upgrade to 2.0. Thanks in Advance.

did you get a disk with drivers on with the card?

try windows update(its at the top of the "all programs" list in the start menu) as they should have somthing.

I saw your post on the iPod board, just wanted to let you know that I replied with a solution that worked for me, also, I don't think you have to have 2.0 for an iPod, it just makes the transfer faster if you do.

I can't even use my smart media reader for my camera. It says that it should work with 1.1, but when I plug it in it doesn't even recognize the drive. All it shows is drive d and e which are my burners. Was wondering if I need a new motherboard. I used the disc that came with and also am running xp pro sp2, so I'm not suppose to need to download drivers from disc, but I tried anyway no luck.
