    Hey everyone.

I have an issue sometimes transferring certain files over to my xbox. The other day I was trying to put my SNES roms on the xbox hard drive. I use Total Commander 6.53 for doing these things. Anyway some roms would copy over and then others would not. Here is an example of one that wouldn't copy (gave me an "error: transfer failed. Continue Operation?" msg)

Battletoads & Double Dragon - The Ultimate Team (U) [!].zip This rom would not copy over.

I notice this happens with some of my movies too. Usually the way I fix this issue with movies is by renaming the file so that it's shorter and is just the title of the movie. Then the movie will copy over.

Now I can't do that with my SNES roms because there are a few hundred roms that didn't get copied over and I assume it's for the same reason. TO rename them all is very time consuming.

Does anyone know an easy way around this?

There Are Bulk File Renamers that will probably do it...

if you have UnleashX (the latest version) you can start that up, then go into the settings and set the auto rename option to yes.
This will rename any roms that are too long for you as it FTP's them.
If not you will have to find a batch converter program.

Someone in another forum from another site told me to use FatXRenamer. I'm in the process of trying that but I haven't had much time lately. I will giv eit a try. If it doesn't work I'm sure I will be back :)
