I have a hard drive that when I hook it up and start my computer it gives off a sort of whirling sound then a click then the whirling starts again and another click and so on and so forth, when i have this hard connected as a primary drive my computer wont recognize it and when I have it hooked up as a secondary drive my computer fails too recognize the drive plus the working hard drive that is present with in my computer.

Is there any hope of saving that data on this hard drive?

    Please help, thanks in advance

only way to retrieve info since your computer doesn't see it is to pay a data retrieval place to get it for you. will cost about $300 or more for that.
