The Intel 945 costs $195 (CAD) while, the 3800+ X2 costs $170 (CAD). If cost, power consumption, and, heat, were not of importance and; performance alone was...which of these two CPU's is better 1)at gaming 2)at other applications such as video editing? I currently have the P5GDC Deluxe Motherboard, and, I think; I will be losing money if, I have to sell my current mobo, and, buy a new one just to use the AMD CPU. So...I was hoping someone can help me make my decision. I will not overclock my CPU. P.S. How much better is the E6300 Core 2 Duo CPU?
