Hey all. I just need to know if and how I can transfer all the program files from the C:program Files/App??? to D:program Files/App???. I know the registry will be bugged so, here is the question. How can I remove the files without getting errors. I know it can be simple and uninstall reinstall. But the CD is gone.

You can transfer the files but they won't work. When you install something many pointers in the registry are created. While the program may move, the pointers won't. Don't even waste your time. (unless it's a selt contained program) and very few are that. If the files in question contain the orginal install file you would need to reinstall the programs for the system to see and use them and I mean the orginal install programs, not what was created after the fact. If the files contain other programs commen files like canned .dll files your likley to losse those as well. Even your start/menu/programs will still point to the c: drive. Without the orginal install program it just won't work. It just don't work that way. Sorry
