Audio out of sync

    My DVD player is suddenly playing DVDs audio out of sync, its a Phillips DVP5140 ive checked all connections and it seems fine???

    Are these "Dvds" originals?
    Normally they should be ok, so it could be your system.
    Can you be more specific?

    no, there compilation dvds they use to play fine , but now the audio is out of sync by 2 seconds , you have to fast foward to get it back in sync

    Could it be your new hardware Highlights the defects of your "old" Dvd compilations ?
