thats a good setup but ur missing a cpu and a case, i think u should get this for ur cpu http://directron.com/ado3800cubox.html if its too expensive then search for other cpu's at www.directron.com im also buildin my comp from there
uh well im going to ask the worlds nubiest question here, whats the cpu? lol, i think its the little shiny square on the mother board correct?
well this is the case i want 328 Black Mid-Tower Computer Case w/600w PS and cpu= AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ Socket AM2 Dual-Core CPU ADO3800CUBOX, 2.0 GHz, 65W i do plan on playing video games with this so i want good performance, im currently using this pc Dell dimension E510 stock so i hope what im making is a great improvement
The CPU is the microprocessor. That CPU someone recommended won't work with your motherboard, nor will the memory you are considering. Look at getting an ABIT KN9 Socket AM2 and that same CPU, or, if you are on a budget, keep the motherboard you intended to buy and get a cheapie Socket 939 CPU and regular DDR PC3200 memory.
If you don't understand what I'm talking about, you shouldn't be building your own machine. I'm usually the first to "dumb down" things so anyone can understand them, but you gotta have some level of knowledge before doing this type of thing. It might be better to find a friend who builds his own machines and let him walk you through component selection and, maybe, a build or two. That might also save you money from some of the "gotchas" you'll run into.
ok well good thing is my best friend gave me th idea to build my own machine, and hes built the 13 in his room.... and i just dont understand some of the rzx37d thats an example but u get the point
