Help Updating Burner

    I need help updating the driver on my dvd burner. It won't burn cds or dvds, but I can play them or copy to my computer. I've tried buying good dvds and still no go. Can someone walk me thru the steps? I don't know which links to pick once I get to the update site someone mentioned.
