    Hi,
please help. I have an old computer but recently it failed to boot and it could open up to the first display of bios info. and then stops there. it keeps a blinking cursor on and that is it. Operating system is windows 98.

    it displaysthis
    BIOS - G (7050BA)
    6X86L - PR200+CPU FOUND

    -

    Press dell to enter SETUP

that is a p1-200mhz cyrix/ibm cpu. press del to enter the bios setup to see if bios sees the hd & sees the correct time & date.

    Thanks ddp,
but the problem is that even if I press dell it does not do anything else. it does not even show that it has received the command.
