    Hi,
I have been trying to burn a DVD+RW with DVD Shrink 3.2.0.15, with Nero 6.6.0.18. I have followed the information from other members a reverted to Nero 6.6.0.18 after running the clean up tool. I use all this software on my work notebook and it works perfectly, but I have purchased a new notebook and keep getting the error below. Help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi.

Laptop burners can be problematic sometimes. Have you tried burning a +R or -R disk instead of the RW?

I couldn't find any updated firmware for this burner. Have you looked at your computer manufacturer's support site for updated firmware? Your burner isn't recognizing the media which is likely causing the problem. Try other media and see if that works.
