    Hard to believe but true.
Burned a video that on standalone player was fine for the first 10 minutes then starting jumping, after 10 minutes I ejected it and threw it in bin. The next day I thought maybe I should try it on my friend´s player, took it out of bin wiped off rotten eggs, potato peel, tomato sauce.....get the picture..... then washed it with fairy and hot water, put it back in my player to see where abouts it started jumping and lo and behold NO jumps whatsoever!! The DVD was new out of the pack so no dust problem...any answers to this one or will it remain a mystery???

You probably touched the disk with your greasy fingers or it was dutsy etc. However, it's best to avoid doing so in the first place. Washing your disks, is not good practise ;-)
