LVW 5005 Firware done, still Macrovision.

    I have a Liteon 5005. Original Firmware was 0102 - 3640 - 0098 - B208 (405 - 010D) I tried to do the firmware update using the download link from the liteon website then the ILO Hacker. I now have the LP 3 Hour ability but MV still appears to be present. Experimenting with backup copy of Gladiator, says Protected Content. Any Ideas??

    NOTE that your 5005 will not be MV free if the firmware is higher than 098
    Go Back to 098 [ Some units will not permit this if firmware is upgraded] but your 5005 should be OK
    Use the hack program to Hack the older firmware
