Raid question

    i have a maxtor 160 gb hard drive and i was wondering if i could use raid with only one hard drive. Is it possible?

    No, you need at least two hard drives to perform one of the many RAID options. GEt another hardrive, preferably the same one and then you can use that. Then yuo have to consider if your motherboard has it onboard or if you need to buy a RAID card.
