Ipod headphone short..

    Yeah I have a short or somthing I think yeah the right headphone just stops working and it will work then stop then work then stop and I tried different headphones but it didnt work it had the same problem what should I do?

    If you tried different headphones and it still didn't work than it might be your iPod itself.

    yeah, defo the iPod.

    if you are confident enough, try opening it and make sure all the lil' cables and plugs are where they are supposed to be.

    Don't be so stupid as to open up your iPod..!

    Take it to your local electronics store and ask them to check that your headphone jack is in check. Failing that, either contact the place where you bought your iPod or speak to Apple.

    I don't think, I just assumed that if you opened it that it would be voided lol. It seems most things are like that.

    ^ yes.. it's possible they'll know you've taken it off, in which case, getting repair / replacement may be difficult.

    well I took it into walmart I guess you only get 15 days and the warrenty there is over but If I send it into apple its 34 bucks for them just to look at it any other ways of fixing it?

    go 2 ur local apple store, they might give u a new ipod if its less than 6 months old, if its over 6 months and under a year theyl fix it but u have to pay shipping, like 35 bux, if all else fails buy a new jack off ebay for like 5 bux, send me a pm and ill guide u on how to "install" the new jack
