sound problem

    I am pulling my hair out !

    When I download a file (usually mpeg), I use Easy Video Splitter to cut the file in half.

    When I playback the two halves the sound is perfectly in sync, played on the pc

    When I then use Nero to make a VCD, and play it in my DVD plater, the sound is out of sync by 3 or 4 seconds.

    Any idea what i can do ?

    How fast are you burning at? (try burning slower) Do you know if ur standalone player can handle VCDs?

    I burn at x1

    My standalone dvd plays vcd's no problem, the problem with the sound only happens when i split the file.

    If I have a mpeg file that i convert to a vcd file that is no longer than 40-45 mins it plays on the dvd with no sound problem !
